Annual clay day 2017

The event, to be held on the 4th August by gracious permission of Her Majesty The Queen, in aid of The Gamekeepers Welfare Trust.

The event will take place on the stunning Royal Sandringham Estate, with a maximum of 30 teams of four, shooting five simulated game drives.

Itinerary of the Day:
  • 08:30 Coffee and registration
  • 09:30 Shooting Competition
  • 13:30 Lunch including speeches, fundraising auction and prizes

In addition to the simulated drives there is the opportunity to take part in a Pool Shoot. This will be an individual competition of a one man flush comprising 20 clays costing £30 or £50 for two goes.

The prize is a Cogswell & Harrison Winsor Game Gun kindly donated by the manufacturer in support of the trust.

The fundraising auction will include a specially created bowl turned from black oak from the parsonage at Burnham Thorpe where Lord Nelson was born. This unique bowl has been specially created for the fundraising auction by renowned wood turner Richard Chapman as a personal favour for Nick Holt.
