dated for 1802, with in the white round slightly swamped 9in. barrel, the top marked 'NOCK 1802', the heart-shaped East India Company mark together with a later Southern Irish registration number, private proofs and Nock maker's mark, small crowned '4' stamps to breech and top-tang, flat lock signed 'NOCK' and with repeated E.I.C. mark and date to tail, ring-necked cock, walnut full-stock with standard brass E.I.C. furniture and probable replacement ramrod
