circa 1860, with well rebrowned twist damascus 9in. barrel, bead fore-sight, short sighting rib at breech signed 'WILKINSON, LONDON' (refreshed), border and scroll engraved squared patent breech with platinum vented plug, fully engraved top-tang, brushed bright border and scroll engraved lock signed 'WILKINSON' on the bar and with sliding safe behind the engraved hammer, walnut full-stock with swept and chequered grip flaring at the heel and fitted with a domed and engraved pommel-cap with central trap, guarded plain trigger and captive iron ramrod
