circa 1865 and also known as 'Breech Loading Revolver No.1', with blued octagonal 2 3/8in. barrel marked on the top-flat 'COGSWELL & HARRISON, STRAND LONDON', small crescent fore-sight, frame mounted push-button cylinder arbor release, solid brass frame with narrow sighting groove to the top-strap, blued seven-shot cylinder with machine engraved central band, exposed hammer and spur trigger and smooth walnut one-piece grip, in a period wood case with full-size green Tranter instruction label inside lid and including a cleaning rod, brush, jag and case key
