dated 1916, 30 1/2in. nitro reproved barrel (in 1998), block and blade fore-sight with side protectors, folding aperture rear sight marked 'B.S.A. MARTIN.', receiver fitted with a Warner Swasey Co. 'TELESCOPIC MUSKET SIGHT MODEL OF 1913' telescopic sight, serial no. 6740, with ranging plates, in its adjustable side-mount and with period leather carry case marked to the back 'DIAMOND "D". A.B.D.', scope mount numbered '6740', receiver ring marked 'ROSS RIFLE CO. CANADA. M-10. PATENTED.', magazine cut-off, bolt with manual safety marked 'SAFE' and 'READY', full stock with top-cover, single barrel band, leather sling, the right of the butt marked 'R. C.483. 7. 16. III. 1000/1916 I.V.', and with white painted '35', 12in. pull including buttplate, with brass trapdoor containing a brass oil bottle marked on the base 'D.A. 17', weight 10lb. 13oz. (unscoped), 13lb.
