circa 1870, with 5 1/2in. octagonal colour hardened barrel, replacement barrel 'handle', plain cylinder with rope-engraved front edge, border and scroll engraved frame with wing-nut safety, finely chequered walnut grip (chipped), lanyard ring and good traces of original colour
