MADE OF SIR JOSEPH WHITWORTH'S FLUID PRESSED STEEL.', left wall thickness at 18+, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action with hidden third bite, side-clips, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, cocking-indicators, best bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining virtually full renewed colour-hardening and finish, 15in. well-figured stock including 1/2in. leather-covered recoil pad, weight 7lb. 1oz., in a fine brass-cornered oak and leather case with canvas and leather outer, claret velvet lined interior with gold-tooled Purdey trade label and some accessories in fitted compartments
