26in. nitro chopperlump barrels with raised matt rib, open sights and two folding leaf sights (possible replacements) with silver-inlaid sighting lines and marked for 100, 300 and 400 yards, ramped bead foresight, the breech end engraved in gothic script with the makers details, partially obscured with quickly-detachable telescopic sight claw mount bases, tubes engraved 'SIGHTED FOR RIGBY'S SPECIAL HIGH VELOCITY .350" NO.2 CARTRIDGE.", "POINTED BULLET 225. GRAINS.", treble-grip action with removable striker discs, automatic safety with brass 'SAFE' detail, border engraving, brushed and reblued finish overall, 14 5/8in. figured pistolgrip stock, engraved strengthening pins at head, steel pistolgrip-cap, sling eyes, including 3/4in. rubber recoil pad, fore-end with grip-catch release lever, weight 9lb. 1oz.

Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this rifle was completed as a 'Class C hammerless toplever A&D ejector double special rifle for no.2 cartridge' and sold in August 1910 to E. Hugh Buxton.
