A 14-BORE PERCUSSION SINGLE-BARRELLED SPORTING-GUN SIGNED TWIGG, no visible serial number, circa 1835, with octagonal to sixteen-sided to round 31 1/2in. barrel (cleaned of finish), borderline and scroll engraved back-action lock (hammer lacking spur), walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, ebony ramrod, the whole worn with some gold painted enhancement and small losses
