A .577/450 MARTINI-HENRY MARK IV PATTERN C SERVICE RIFLE SIGNED ENFIELD, no visible serial number, dated 1886, with 32 1/2 in. signed barrel stamped 'N . S / N E P' [for Native Service, Nepal] below ladder-sight, inspection and proof-marks, falling block action, right side of receiver with crown over 'V . R / ENFIELD / 1888' with viewer's mark over 'IV / 1', with inspection marks over, small cocking indicator, walnut stock, butt stamped with roundel and 'RP / 10 / 1902' plus Nepalese unit markings, complete with both sling swivels and clearing rod, worn, original finish poorly removed leaving staining, stock heavily rubbed, lever cup damaged, rear barrel band poorly fitting and appears glued in place, 48 3/4 in. overall
