A .577 (SNIDER) MKII ARTILLERY CARBINE SIGNED ENFIELD, gun no. 625, dated for 1871, with 21 1/2in. barrel, flip-open breech numbered '188'and signed 'BSA Co.', the top-tang numbered '625' and marked 'H.A.', signed and dated lock, walnut half-stock with brass furniture, the heel-plate also numbered '625' along with some crossed-out volunteer markings on the spur, two iron barrel bands, bayonet lug, replacement nose-cap and fitted with a period black leather sling
