A PRE WORLD WAR ONE .25 'GIANT' GEM AIR-RIFLE SIGNED AD ARBENZ, BIRMINGHAM, serial no. 504 (2461),
circa 1900, with blued octagonal to round 21 3/8in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, fixed sighting notch to the dolls-head barrel-latch, the top-flat of barrel marked with a crossed pistol trade-mark and 'PATENT GEM No. 2461', the left top-flat signed 'AD ARBENZ BIRMINGHAM', nickel-plated air-chamber (much plating remaining), walnut butt-stock, nickel-plated heavy crescent heel-plate and cocking link forming the trigger guard
