for 1882, 30 1/4in. lined nitro reproved damascus barrels (in 2007), the rib engraved 'STEPHEN GRANT. 67A. ST. JAMES'S STREET. LONDON.' (rubbed), and '2', the breech end with acanthus scroll detailing, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, H. Philips patent sidelever lever-cocking action, patent no. 4809 of 1879, carved fences, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, topstrap engraved 'PATENT', border and acanthus scroll engraving, bright finish, 14in. figured likely replacement stock, weight 6lb. 10oz.
