A PAIR OF 12-BORE SELF-OPENING SIDELOCK EJECTORS, serial no. 18732 / 3,
for 1906, 30in. nitro chopperlump barrels (No.1 nitro reproved in 1977, No.2 bore measurements marginal), rib engravings worn illegible, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both (No.1) 1/4 and 3/4 choke (No.2), wall thicknesses below recommended minimum, self-opening actions, removable striker discs, toplevers engraved '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, arrow cocking-indicators, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 15 1/2in. figured replacement stocks including 1in. wooden extensions, inlet in gold '1' and '2' with a (likely later applied) gold surround, weight 6lb. 5oz. (No.1) and 6lb. 12oz. (No.2), in in their makers brass-cornered oak and leather double guncase
