A .380 (ELEY) FIVE-SHOT WEBLEY-PATENT SOLID-FRAME POCKET REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
circa 1868, with blued round 4 1/4in. barrel, the left side of barrel-mount marked 'WEBLEY'S PATENT', crescent fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to rear of the plain top-strap, the right side of barrel fitted with an articulated ejector mechanism, plain cylinder with sunken locking notches and frame-mounted friction brake, hinged loading gate with exposed spring, double action mechanism (firing pin removed from hammer), chequered walnut semi saw-handled grips and guarded trigger, good amount of finish remaining
