for 1906 / 1907, 28in. replacement nitro reproved barrels (replaced in 1932, reproved in 1994), ribs gold-inlaid '1' and '2' and engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS. 23 CONDUIT ST. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke, scroll-back treble-grip actions incorporating J. Deeley and L.B. Taylor patent hand-detachable locks, patent no. 17731 of 28th July 1897, use numbers 1600 and 1593, No.1 marked with with improved 'lighter pull-off' modification, patent no. 10567 of 7th May 1907, A.E. Lard patent single selective triggers, patent no. 3952 of February 2nd 1899, use numbers 1302 and 1182, Westley Richards improved patent toplevers, patent no. 1572 of 14th June 1871, standing breeches engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS. PATENT ONE TRIGGER', the toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, border and acanthus scroll engraving, brushed finish, 14 1/2in. figured stocks including 1/2in. wooden extensions, weight 6lb. 8oz., in their brass-cornered oak and leather double guncase, the lid exterior marked 'J.A. LLOYD GRENADIER GUARDS'
