circa 1870, with ovoid 2 1/4in. barrel signed on the top 'P. WEBLEY & SON' and on the right upper face 'LONDON & BIRMINGHAM', plain solid frame marked on either side of the sighting groove 'THE' and 'PUG', blued plain five-shot cylinder, hinged loading gate, double action mechanism, chequered walnut birdshead grips and ejector rod stored in the heel, fair traces of original finish remaining
