circa 1852, with blued octagonal 4 3/4in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'GEO'E WEBB HIGH ST, OXFORD', engraved band at muzzle, bead fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to top of standing breech, articulated loading lever below barrel, two-piece borderline and scroll engraved open frame, plain six-shot cylinder, spurless hammer with 'L' shaped exposed safety spring, double action only trigger, finely chequered walnut grips with iron straps and pommel, fair traces of original blued finish remaining
