commercial example circa 1852, with round 33in. barrel, the top signed 'GEORGE GIBBS 29 CORN ST. BRISTOL' (rubbed), block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, borderline engraved top-tang and bar-action lock, the latter signed 'GEORGE GIBBS', walnut full-stock with iron furniture, bayonet bar to right hand side of muzzle, stirrup swivels and jag-ended ramrod, some mild pitting to exposed iron surfaces
