A PAIR OF 50-BORE FLINTLOCK TRAVELLING PISTOLS WITH SPRING BAYONETS & BELT HOOKS, in a later case,
circa 1820, with turn-off 2 1/4in. round barrels (frozen), the muzzles with engraved band and starred for a key (absent), concave triangular bayonets below the barrels released via the trigger guard bows, squared border and scroll engraved actions signed 'LONDON' on the right and 'WESTLEY RICHARDS' on the left, the latter obscured in part by the applied belt hooks, central cocks with tang safes, smooth walnut bag-shaped grips, traces of finish and in a later mahogany case adapted for these pistol and lined and compartmented in green baize, together with some period accessories
