circa 1880 and based on an M1867 but with central fire conversion, blued 35 1/2in. barrel fitted with a dove-tailed tunnel fore-sight, long elevating ladder rear-sight, rolling-block receiver marked 'M1867' and with central hammer (traces of colour), micro-adjustable elevating pan-head peep-sight fitted to wrist, walnut butt-stock, an oval bordered white-metal plaque applied to right side of butt marked 'HORBELEV SOGNS OG OMEGNS 60 ARS JUBILAUM' and FUGLESKYDNINGSSELSKAB' ('Horbelev Parish & Surroundings. 60 Year Anniversary' and 'Bird Shooting Society'), full length military-style fore-end, iron furniture including three barrel-bands, under-barrel clearing-rod and bayonet lug at muzzle
