circa 1870, with octagonal 2 7/8in. barrel, shallow raised sighting rib with bead fore-sight, top-strap with standing rear-sight and signed 'RHOADES, SALISBURY', solid scroll engraved integral bronze frame, iron six-shot cylinder, spur trigger and exposed hammer, finely chequered walnut grips with scroll engraved back-strap, in its chequered leatherette-covered storage case lined and compartmented in dark blue baize, with orange 'Rhoades' trade-label inside lid and including a cleaning rod
