A .177 BREAK-BARREL LINCOLN-JEFFERIES TYPE AIR-PISTOL, UNSIGNED, serial no. 534,
circa 1925, with 9in. rifled barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, notch rear-sight, the top-flat of breech devoid of the usual maker's signature, the right hand side marked 'BEST ENGLISH MAKE', steeply slanted air-chamber forming the grip, side-bar barrel release, the cocking link forming the trigger-guard (conventional as opposed to thumbwheel take-down screw at front), web of grip marked 'PATT No. 181277' and the serial number, the whole with slight traces of possibly original faded finish (some loss to detail) with some fine shallow frosting
