A .50-70 REMINGTON ROLLING-BLOCK RIFLE ATTRIBUTED TO THE NEW YORK MILITIA, no visible serial number,
circa 1870, with 36in. barrel, block fore-sight, ladder rear-sight, rolling block action with inspectors stamps, walnut butt-stock (working repair at toe) and full-length fore-end, three iron barrel-bands and jag-tipped clearing rod, the side of stock marked 'D10 X', the heel-plate spur '10' and 'D' over '13'
