dated for 1864, with reblued 39in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, fixed standing notch rear-sight, ordnance and farsi marks at breech, later re-proof for blank, plain lock signed 'ENFIELD' below the date, 'I' and broad arrow stamp, and 'V.R.' with crown device at tail, walnut full-stock, brass furniture and three blued iron barrel-bands, refinished, with jag-ended ramrod
