circa 1942, with large eliptical 10 1/2in. leaf shaped blade (reprofiled at tip), large nickel oval cross-guard, two-piece wood handle fixed via four pins, the left side amateurly inscribed 'BURMA 1942', heavy alloy pommel held via three further pins and ordnance broad arrow stamped, lacking scabbard
