the first a World War One French example signed 'ASTIER PRCDCN' around a cloverleaf trademark above 'THIERS', with narrow leaf-form 6in. double edged blade, offset ricasso, shaped flat iron cross-guard and plain wood grip flaring slightly at the pommel, complete with its tinplate scabbard with iron wire belt-loop, the second a World War Two German boot-knife, of classic form with double-edged tip to the 6 5/8in. blade, narrow iron cross-guard, smooth wood scales held by three iron pins and complete with its black painted iron scabbard with spring belt-clip reverse
