** A CAST IRON PAINTED COAT OF ARMS BELIEVED TO BE FROM THE ENTRANCE TO THE BRITISH HIGH COMMISSION FOR RHODESIA AND NYASALAND,
circa 1960s, hand-painted with holes for mounting bolts, edges with heavy paint runs, comes with a photocopy of a typed note dated 1972 giving details of the location of the High Commission and states how the plaque came into the first owner's hands following the closure of the building and the Commissioner's retirement in 1969; unfortunately, the letter is unsigned does not state the name of the writer, 23in. x 21in. x 1 1/2in.
