circa 1925, 24 3/4in. nitro reproved barrel (in 2026), engraved 'W.W. GREENER, MAKER. BIRMINGHAM. AMMUNITION 318.', open rear sight with four folding leaf sights marked for 100-500 yards, block mounted bead fore-sight, receiver with thumb cut-out and fixed charger bridge, turned-down bolt with manual flag safety, detachable floorplate engraved 'G.B' and with an Impala, retaining slight traces of original blued finish, pistolgrip halfstock with later bone pistolgrip cap and buttplate, 14 1/2in. pull, weight 6lb. 9oz.
