circa 1917 and in the form of the standard ten-round Enfield box-magazine, the interior replaced with a complex machined bullet feed with spring-loaded rammer, the top markings erased, the left hand side with loaded viewing aperture, the right side with lever to allow single loading of alternate ammunition, some finish wear with mild pitting
