circa 1870, 28in. sleeved nitro barrels, rib engraved 'JOHN RIGBY & CO. DUBLIN & LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 choke in both, right wall at 18, carved percussion fences, non-rebounding locks, the action, lockplates and furniture all engraved with bold acanthus scrollwork on a matt background, brushed finish, 14 1/2in. figured stock, weight 5lb. 10oz.
