dated 1988, 27in. nitro barrels, rib engraved 'J. SOUTHWELL. SANCTON. YORK.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, engraved with bold foliate motifs on a matt background around finely engraved scenes of waterfowl alighting wetland on the left, a brace of pheasant in flight over a rural vista on the right, the underside with a vignette of partridge, lockplates signed 'D.V. HUDSON', brushed finish, 15in. stock including 1 3/8in. extension and rubber recoil pad, weight 6lb. 15oz.
