dated for 1886, with 32 1/4in. sighted barrel, blued action marked 'M. 1885 STEYR 1886' on the left side and with the Portuguese royal arms on the right, sliding safe inside trigger-guard, the guard combined with the finger-lever, walnut straight-hand stock (some blinded bruising), iron sling mounts, brass-tipped iron cleaning rod, traces of finish to metalwork
