dated 1887, with 32 1/2in. sighted barrel, proof and inspection marks, stamped 'N E P N S' for Nepalese Native Service, dropping block lever action, small cocking indicator, receiver stamped with Queen's crown, 'VR / ENFIELD / 1887 / lock-viewer's mark / IV / I' plus inspection marks, walnut stock, butt with faint roundels plus 'A. L. / 10 / 1908' plus Nepalese script (indicating transferred out of Allahabad Arsenal to Nepal), plus other stampings, complete with sling swivels and cleaning rod, service wear with some minor losses to the stock, 49 1/2in. overall length
