circa 1889, with blued 6 1/2in. barrel with raised sighting rib marked 'SMITH & WESSON, SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A.', blade fore-sight, standing blade rear-sight incorporated into the locking-catch, blued fluted cylinder (finish faded), blued frame, case-hardened hammer and trigger-guard, chequered hard rubber grips with 'S&W' monogram, and virtually all its original finish except where noted
