A .577 (SNIDER) BREECH-LOADING RIFLE, MODEL 'TWO-BAND SNIDER', no visible serial number,
circa 1870, with round 30 1/2in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, not reinforced at the nocksform, flip open breech-block, plain lock signed 'BLISSETT LIVERPOOL' and marked with a crown and 'TOWER' at the tail, walnut three-quarter stock with brass furniture, bayonet lug to right side of muzzle and jag-ended iron clearing rod
