late model circa 1939, with matching number 25 1/2in. barrel, ramp fore-sight, elevating notch rear-sight, 'bolt-action' rotary locking catch, centrally mounted adjustable peep-sight to rear of receiver, air chamber with model designation and five lines of patents, no provision for safety catch, saw-gripped chequered walnut butt-stock with horn heel-plate, strong traces of original finish especially to barrel and carrier
