circa 1858, with 41in. barrel, fore-sight integral with the nose-cap, folding multi-aperture rear-sight, solid top-tang, plain lock with 'SUHL' and crown device, walnut full-stock with exposed muzzle and raised cheek-piece, brass furniture except iron heel-plate and ramrod, lock heavily frosted with mild frosting to other exposed iron surfaces
