with 13 1/2in. blade double edged for the last 4 1/2in., the back edge and forte etched and carved and gilt-washed, straight turned cross-guard (one quillion slightly bent), sail knuckle-guard with etched and gilded decoration and with a centrally applied double headed eagle coat of arms, wire bound grip, carved pommel and complete with its brown leather scabbard with etched and gilded mounts
