30 1/4in. black powder damascus barrels, the rib engraved 'W. & C. SCOTT & SON. PATENT TRIPLEX LEVER GRIP. 10. GT. CASTLE STREET REGENT CIRCUS. LONDON.' and engraved with a flash of foliate scrollwork at the breech end, action incorporating Scott patent toplever and Purdey double-bite, Scott patent 2752 of 25th October 1865 and Purdey patent 1104 of 2nd May 1863, carved percussion fences, rebounding sidelocks, engraved with border and acanthus scrollwork surrounding vignettes of feather on the right, the left with the portrait of a hound, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 13 3/4in. semi-pistolgrip stock including buttplate, weight 8lb. 14oz.
