for 1904, with round tapering 2 1/2in. barrel, the side marked 'COLT D.A. 32', the top signed 'COLTS PT. FA. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. PAT'D AUG 5.84 JUNE 5 1900' on three lines, crescent fore-sight, grooved sighting channel to the top-strap, fluted swing-out cylinder, plain frame, the side-plate stamped 'COLTS NEW POLICE' in a circle surrounding the Colt stallion trademark, pull-back cylinder release catch, chequered hard rubber grips embossed with 'COLT' at the head, blued hammer with polished sides, blued trigger, the whole retaining much original factory blued finish.
