collection reference 0379, converted for percussion from an Adams revolver circa 1868, with blued 5 3/4in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, plain blued lengthened five-shot cylinder marked 'STEEL', Birmingham proofs, solid frame with traces only of Adams' original marks, chequered walnut grips, refinished at conversion with little signs of subsequent use, action at fault
