A .41 RIMFIRE VEST-PISTOL, MODEL 'COLT'S No3 THUER PATENT DERRINGER', no visible serial number,
circa 1875, with nickel-plated 2 1/2in. sideways hinged barrel signed in italics 'COLT' on the top of the barrel, small crescent fore-sight, London proofs, the nickel-plated open frame engraved 'E.M. REILLY & Co. LONDON' below the barrel on the right hand side, the left marked with the calibre and stamped with the Colt Stallion trademark along with the letter 'C', blued hammer and spur trigger, second type frame with birdshead grip and fitted with factory ivory grips, much finish throughout
