ORIGINAL MANNLICHER SCHOENAUER. MOD. 1956. KAL. 458', the side wall engraved 'STEYR-DAIMLER-PUCH A.G. STEYR', colour-hardened bolt release catch, low straight butterknife bolt handle with horn knob, the bolt with a folding adjustable peep sight, detachable rotary box magazine with the Steyr trademark and 'STOEGER ARMS CORPORATION. NEW YORK. MADE IN AUSTRIA.', the triggerguard gold-inlaid with the serial number, well-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, engraved and colour-hardened pistolgrip-cap, sling swivels, 14 1/2in. pull including 1/2in. leather covered recoil pad, weight 8lb. 13oz. (unscoped) and 10lb. 1oz. (with scope), in a universal flight case, together with the original stock and trigger unit, and also with an extensive photographic record of the rebuilding of the rifle by Dorleac & Dorleac.
