 A .700 PERCUSSION SERVICE-MUSKET, MODEL 'CHARLEVILLE TYPE', no visible serial number, 
 post 1801 with later conversion to percussion from flint, with brushed bright 40 3/4in. unsighted round barrel, solid top-tang, bevel edged flat lock retaining plugged apertures for flintlock parts and with radiused tail, signed forwards of the hammer (only partially legible), walnut full-stock with so called 'holy water plug' in left side of butt, the same side also deeply marked with an oval containing the letters 'C.T', dished cheek-piece, iron furniture including two broad barrel-bands and further twin-banded nose-cap, iron under-barrel ramrod
