circa 1975, 34in. heavy nitro reproved barrel (in 2026), octagonal breech end, engraved 'OLD RELIABLE' and 'C. SHARPS ARMS CO. INC. BIG TIMBER. MONTANA. CALIBRE 40 2 5/8', adjustable tunnel fore-sight, receiver fitted with a folding vernier rear sight, falling-block action, colour-hardened block, non-rebounding hammer, border and acanthus scroll engraving, the underside marked 'EVANS' and 'FEGA', 14 1/8in. figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, chequered and colour-hardened buttplate, weight 12lb.
