circa 1900, with 13 3/4in. spire-point blade, etched central panel (rubbed) with triple fuller, horn hilt of classic form, the edges covered in sheet silver decorated with niello panels, two large dome headed rivets, Russian silver assay stamps to the reverse of the locket mount, TOGETHER WITH its original silver mounted leather scabbard nielloed en-suite with the hilt, the throat with Russian silver assay mark, small panels of exposed leather to front and reverse, silver wire-bound ball tip, silver band with leather suspension loop and a cyrillic inscription to the reverse
