28in. browned twist sighted barrels each signed ' PRELAT A PARIS' in gold on the rib and respectively numbered '1' and '2', case-hardened patent breeches each with pierced platinum plug and engraved with a sunburst on the rib, border and scroll engraved tangs also decorated with a corresponding sunburst, border and scroll engraved locks each signed 'PRELAT A PARIS' in gold, highly figured bird's eye maple half-stocks each with chequered grip and fore-end (one with old bolted repaired crack at the hand), border and scroll engraved iron mounts including trigger-plates each with pineapple finial, iron sling eyes, and original brass-tipped ramrods each with worm (barrels with older rebrowned finish, one barrel-bolt replaced), barrelsmith's mark 'NB' under a crown for Nicholas Boutet.
