A .65 PERCUSSION TRADE CARBINE CIRCA 1850, no visible serial number, 20 in. Ordnance proofed and sighted barrel, fitted with Lovell's carbine Pattern 1842 side-action lock, stamped with the Crown V.R. cypher on the tail and '1850 TOWER' to the centre, regulation brass mounted full walnut stock, made up by the trade out of military parts for export sale, complete with old replacement rod, tail-pipe missing from fore-end.
