circa 1920, serial number to short rib only, 30in. nitro reproved barrels (in 1967), rib engraved 'W.C. CARSWELL. EXCHANGE BUILDINGS. CHAPEL ST. LIVERPOOL.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, W. Baker patent assisted-opening action, patent no. 26,903 of 27th November 1906, with Baker patent ejectors, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, border and acanthus scroll engraving, brushed finish, 15in. figured stock (repaired crack at hand) including 1 5/8in. wooden extension, weight 6lb. 12oz.
